Tamara Diver is Chief Executive Officer of Rural West, the Rural Financial Counselling Service of Western Australia, supporting primary producers and regional small businesses navigating financial hardship.

Tamara brings 15 years of senior leadership experience across national operations, finance, HR, marketing, and IT, most recently as Rural West’s Chief Operating Officer for four and a half years before stepping into the CEO role. Raised in a generational farming family and living regionally, she brings both corporate expertise and a genuine understanding of rural life to her leadership.

As CEO, Tamara is focused on strengthening Rural West’s long-term sustainability, broadening its funding base beyond, and ensuring the organisation continues to meet the evolving needs of rural WA communities. Her approach is grounded in resilience and reform: building an organisation that is capable, adaptable, and positioned to serve regional Western Australia for the long term.

Tamara’s own experience of financial hardship, including supporting her partner through small business financial distress, shapes her belief that rural communities deserve support that meets people where they are.
